Here’s a recipe for making Kondakadalai Sundal:

Wash and soak the chickpeas overnight in cold water.
Drain the chickpeas and put them in a pressure cooker.
Cook the chickpeas, then drain them.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients for a minute.
Add the cooked chickpeas and salt.
Add coconut and toss.
